Direct Primary Care is not health insurance. Membership care covers a majority of family medical needs at an affordable rate. Purchasing insurance is recommended as DPC members can typically choose higher deductible coverage, resulting in significant healthcare cost savings.

Dr. Sharp’s interests and expertise are broad and include children teens and adults. She is excited to practice in the DPC model, as it allows her freedom to be fully present with her patients and free from the confines of insurance-based systems.
I may have the title of “Doctor”, but my primary function is that of a teacher. By utilizing the DPC model, I am afforded the opportunity to spend quality time with my patients, thus educating them about health, wellness, and disease. I enjoy empowering patients to understand what options are available and to help them make well-informed decisions about their health.
I believe that patients should be able to spend unrushed quality time with their doctor so that concerns are fully addressed. I believe that this value should also be affordable and easily accessible. A monthly membership fee allows me and my patients the freedom from insurance companies’ restrictions.
